By Dickson Odhiambo September 28, 2018. Four more people arrested following water meters’ theft in Kisumu. FOUR more people have been arrested on the issue of water meters’ theft in Kisumu. Kisumu Water and Sewerage Company Managing Director Thomas Odongo says police together with officers from the company arrested the trio within Nyalenda Estate this morning on the issue of water meters theft within the area. UNAITAS Sacco to pump shs 1.5B to promote economic activities in Nyanza.  THE UNAITAS Savings and Credit Cooperative Society will pump in sh1.5 billion to help in boosting economic activities in the counties falling Lake Region Economic Block in Nyanza region. This move is aimed at transforming financial needs of the local residents within those counties Speaking during the official opening of Unaitas branch in Kisumu today presided over by Hon Raila Odinga, Unaitas chairman Joseph Kabugu announced that the funds will be channeled towards financing value chain agriculture in the horticulture and in specific avocado farming.
