Ranguma urges religious leaders to Pray for peace ahead of polls.

Kisumu County Governor Jack Ranguma has urged the religious leaders across the various churches and mosques to pray for peace and tranquility during electioneering period.

Ranguma says the element of peace and tranquility is very much important hence the various religious leaders should consider putting the Kisumu County and the Country at large in prayers mood so as to ensure there is peace during this electioneering period.

Speaking at Saint Johaness Legion Maria of African Church Mission in Kisumu East Constituency where he celebrated the Easter with the faithful, Ranguma says he is optimistic that with peaceful co-existence everything is very much possible with God.

He says he is ready to work with all the religious leaders within the county for the betterment of the county.

Ranguma at the same time has urged the residents of Kisumu County to turn up in large numbers and participate in the forthcoming ODM party primaries that is slated for Monday next week.

He urges the residents to vote for him as the ODM Gubernatorial candidate in Kisumu Country and re-elect him for his second and final term in office as the First Governor of the Kisumu County.

He says he has a good track record for development during his first term in office since he took over in 2013 after the General Election.

“I want to passionately ask you to participate in the ODM party primaries slated for next Monday and vote me as the party’s candidate where finally re-elect me in August during the General Elections,” he says.
