The High Court has today fined Kisumu Governor Prof.Anyang Nyong'o and his sister Dr. Risper Nyagoy sh 400,000 each for contempt of Court. The Court has found Governor Nyong’o and his sister guilty of contempt of court hence imposing the fine to the two. High Court Lady Judge Tripsisa Cherere ruled today that the duo will be committed to civil jail of one month should they default to pay the fine as ordered. All the form four candidates anticipating to sit their final Examination in Kisumu County will be really de-registered if they engage in strikes within their schools. Kisumu County Director of Education Isaac Atebe has issued a stern warning to all the students in various schools within Kisumu County not to try and engage in any form of strike that will disrupt the schools calendars.
