Malaria burden in Ksm has been reduced to 10 from 50 percent

The Kisumu County Director of Public Health and Sanitation Liliana Dayo says in early 2000, the burden of malaria disease in Kisumu County used to be at 50 percent but has since been reduced to 10 percent. Addressing the residents of Muhoroni Sub-County during this   year’s World Malaria Day held at Ombeyi Primary school, the Director of Public Health and Sanitation said the reduction in the percentage has been witnessed due to some interventions put in place to combat the disease.
