With him is the CS ICT and Digital Economy Eliud Owalo-Photo Courtesy By Dickson Odhiambo   January 29, 2024   Our focus as a govt is development, CS says   The major focus for the Kenya Kwanza Government is to ensure that the various parts of the country are developed, a cabinet secretary has said.   ICT and Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo says the Government of Kenya Kwanza has lined up a number of development in different parts of the country that include infrastructural development.   Addressing the residents of Siaya County during the official opening of the Anglican Church Trinity Church House in Bondo Town, Owalo said the Kenya Kwanza Government under President William Ruto is focusing on development in various parts of the country regardless of the voting patterns during the last General Elections held in August 2022.

Kisumu Journalists Network Chairman Dickens Wasonga who has died in a road accident today in Kisumu-Photo Courtesy By Dickson Odhiambo   January 26, 2024   Ksm Journalists Network Chairman dies in a grisly Road accident   Kisumu Journalists have been thrown into a state of mourning after their chairperson died in a grisly road accident that occurred in Kisumu this morning.   Dickens Wasonga, Chairman of the Kisumu Journalists Network passed on this morning following a road traffic accident that occurred this morning along Kisumu-Kakamega Highway near Mamboleo Junction.   Wasonga was elected the chairman of Kisumu Journalist Network on November 23, 2023 and took over from his Prediccessor Rushdie Oudia.   Until his untmely demise, Wasonga was working with the Star Newspaper where he was based in Kisumu.   Cabinet Secretary in charge of ICT and Digital Economy Eliud Owalo who was in Kisumu for a function had to cut it short and joined the Kisumu based Journalists in mourning one of their

Teaching Staff at the Maseno School during the announcement of KCSE 2023 Results-Story and Photo By Dickson Odhiambo January 9, 2024   Maseno, Rang’ala post good Results in KCSE Exams   The Maseno School in Kisumu County and Rang’ala Girls High school in Siaya County have posted exemplary performance in the just released Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Exams of the year 2023.   Maseno has managed to get 36 of its KCSE Candidates scoring straight As while 126 managed to get mean grade of A minus.   Addressing the media after the Ministry of Education officially released the KCSE 2023 Results, Maseno School Deputy Principal Peter Nyawach said they have managed to get a mean score of 9.543.   Nyawach says 114 Candidates also managed to score mean grade of B Plus while 121 scored B plain.   He adds that 77 candidates managed to scoop mean grade of B minus while Nine managed to score C plain and 3 managed to get a mean grade of C Minus.   He has attributed to the school’s sterling
