Two Bright and needy pupils in Ksm  risk missing form 1 slots due lack of fees

 

 Two needy but bright pupils who sat and passed well last year’s KCPE Exams risks missing form one chances they have been offered.

 

One of them is a needy but bright Girl from Kisumu West Constituency who has been placed at State House Girls is set to miss the chance due to lack of school fees.

 

The other one is a bright but needy boy from Nyando constituency who has scored 390 marks and has been placed at Tenwek High school in Bomet County.

 

The Girl identify as Glomour Awuor Juma from Nyawara Primary school within South West Ward in Kisumu West Sub-county scored 376 marks in the last year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education{KCPE}.

 

Addressing the press in Kisumu today to explain her daughter’s predicament, Pauline Awino says financially the family is very much down and can not afford to take her child to State House Girls where she has been placed.

 

Awino says she has applied for scholarship programs associated with one of the leading banks in the country but they are yet to be considered for interview.

 

Awino says her child is very sharp, adding  that she needs to be supported through her secondary school education.

 

She appeals to any well-wisher to help in anyway so as to aid her daughter go through her secondary school education.

Meanwhile, In Nyando Constituency, a bright but needy boy from St Christopher's Kolunga Primary school who scored 390 marks risk missing Tenwek High School in Bomet County which is a national school.

 

Abraham Abwao Odhiambo has been placed at Tenwek High School and is expected to report this January 15, 2024.

 

The Family appeals to well wishers to help in a little way so as to help the Boy take the Boy through his Secondary education.

 

Abwao was the second best KCPE 2023 candidate at St Christopher Kolunga Primary within Awasi/Onjiko Ward.
