The Management of the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu is probing an incident in which a medic was allegedly bribed to attend to a patient recently at the facility. The Hospital Chief Executive Officer Dr. Peter Okoth said such an incident is very embarrassing and must be condemned at all cost. Dr. Okoth was reacting to a story exposed by a local Television Station where a patient was caught on camera bribing a medic with shs 100 so as to attend to his sickness. Kisumu High Court Judge Justice Thripisa Cherere said the duo are now facing imprisonment after the Court has committed them to one month in jail for disobeying court orders that were issued on May 23 this year.
