Ahero Vocational Training Center marks 50 years of existence as it is revamped THE Ahero Vocational Training Center within Nyando Sub-County in Kisumu has marked 50 years since it was established. The Training Center yesterday marked the colorful event in a ceremony that was presided over by the Catholic Church Arch Bishop of Kisumu Arch Diocese Philip Anyolo. Drama at Kisumu County Assembly as Speaker Oloo stopped from accessing premises. DRAMA has today ensured at the County Assembly of Kisumu after the embattled Speaker Onyango Oloo been blocked from accessing the premise. Drama started when the besieged Speaker Oloo tried to gain entry to the premise but was barred from accessing after a section of rowdy youth and Members of the County Assembly opposing him told him to stay away. Police had to lob several teargas canisters to disperse the unruly youth who sang pro-Speaker Oloo’s chants while demanding that he be allowed to gain access to the facility as the speaker.
