Clergy urges Nasa Leader to drop his planned swearing-in.

The Head of Holy Ghost Coptic Church in Africa Reverend John Pesa has urged NASA Leader Raila Odinga to drop his plans of being sworn in this January 30.

Pesa says those people who are pushing Odinga's swearing in are not realistic and should not try to come up with such plans.

Pesa says the issue of the National Super Alliance Leader Raila Odinga to be sworn-in as the coalition plans is not in order.

Father Pesa who was speaking after a procession to mark 61 years since the church was established in Kenya said those people trying to urge Odinga to be sworn-in should consider the consequences of such a move.

Pesa says Kenya cannot have two Presidents at the same time as this has never been witnessed before, adding that there can only be one President who has been sworn-in at a time.

The Cleric has urged Odinga to maintain being peaceful as he has always been so as to maintain his good track record on democracy which has fought for a very long time.

“As a clergy, I want to urge the National Super Alliance Leader Raila Odinga not to be misled so as to be sworn-in as this is not right because Kenya cannot have two presidents manning the country at the same time,” Pesa says.

Pesa at the same time has urged the two factions of the Legion Maria of African Church Mission to unite and move forward together other than constant wrangling.

He says unity of the two factions one led by Pope Raphael Adika and the other by Pope Romanus Ong'ombe is very important for the church to move forward together.

He says the two factions should find an amicable solution to the current impasse pitting the two leaders.

The Reverend has also sent his message of condolence to the family of the late Arch Bishop Silas Owiti  of the Voice of Salvation and Healing Church International who passed on last Sunday night.

He has described Owiti as a man of God who inspired many lives during  his days as a clergy.
