Six Form Three students arrested with rolls of bhang

Police in Kisumu have arrested Six Secondary schools students with rolls of bhang in a rented house.

Kisumu Police Commander Samuel Anampiu says the police operation carried out yesterday evening within Korando B Sub-location on illicit brews and drugs ended up netting the six students of Tiengre Mixed Secondary school who were found in a rental house within the area.

He says the operation was carried out by the Police Officers from Kogony Police post jointly with the Assistant Chief of Korando B Sub-location within Otonglo area in Kisumu West Sub-county.

The County Police Boss says the six were arrested with three and half rolls of bhang which was under the table within the house.

Anampiu says the six students aged between 17 and 19 years old, adding they will be arraigned in Court today.

He says police have kept the three and half rolls of Bhang as exhibit to be presented in court.

The six students were arrested while still in school uniforms.
