Govt has put enough mechanisms for school’s re-opening, says Interior PS

The Government has put enough mechanisms in place so that school going children report to school from today across the country, a Principal Secretary has said.

Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Interior and National Administration Dr Raymond Omollo says the Government has ensured safety of the students across the country while beginning to report to various schools today.

Addressing congregants at ACK St Peter’s Cathedral of Maseno East Diocese during a Sunday Church service, the Principal Secretary said the Ministry of Interior and National Government Coordination will keep on monitoring working with the Ministry of education to ensure that students get back safely in schools across the country.

The PS says the constant monitoring will be done both in public and private schools across the country to ensure that students get back to schools safely.

PS Omollo has appealed to parents across the country to take good care of their children as they now releasing them to go back to schools for the beginning of second term.

“There is no better way to take good care of the children that God has blessed us with than to show them the way to the church. When we show our children the way to church and they learn as they grow up and eventually when they become adults they will always remember,” PS Dr Omollo says.

He says such children normally go back to church and give back to God for what He has always done to them by supporting various church development activities.

Nandi Governor Stephen Sang says the Nyanza region will work together with the next Kenya Kwanza Government after the 2027 General elections fully.

Governor Sang has thanked Principal Secretary Dr Raymond Omollo for doing a good coordination work in Nyanza region by ensuring that the people from the region also get government resources.

Sang says the next Government of Kenya Kwanza will win the General Election on account of performance across the country.

Governor Sang says the reason as to why the Government is fully supporting the Raila Odinga’s candidature as the next African Union Commission Chairperson is because he is a true son of Kenya and not because of politics.

“Raila has the capacity to represent Kenya and Africa at large and serve in that position. I look forward on when Kenyans will look each other straight into the eye and give positions in terms of capacity,” Governor Sang says.
