Mwamu says their livelihoods will also change once in such Saccos because they will be able to borrow loans on a small interests for their businesses.

“A number of Boda Boda riders across the country have embarked on this and have become successful and the same can be replicated in our regions here in Nyanza,” Mwamu says.

He says the foundation is out to advise the Boda Boda operators to speak in one voice and embark on development through saccos.

Mwamu at the same time urged the Boda Boda Operators to ensure that they fully adhere to the Covid-19 disease protocols, adding that the third wave of Corona Virus is serious indeed.

He assures the operators that the foundation will continue to provide sanitizers, reflector jackets and face masks.
