Students set to join Talent University as intake kicks off

Students are now set to join the first Talent University in Africa as intake kicks off this month of May.

Head of the Talent University in Africa Prof Humphrey Obora said the University is set to kick off the intake for its students beginning this month of May.

Addressing the Press at his office within the University along Kisumu-Nairobi Highway in Kisumu City, Prof Obora said already the institution has written to the Higher Education Loans Board and the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service {KUCCPS to help students who wish to join the Institution to get Government Services.

He says this is a major milestone after the Government recently issued an Interim Letter to the Talent based university which has now allowed it recruit students and roll out its programs.

Obora says this is the First Talent Based University in Africa and will attract admission to students from various parts of Africa and beyond.

He says plans are there to expand the University’s branches across African, adding that already construction is going on at a land within Kisumu City so as to expand the University’s infrastructure in Kenya.

“We are doing this to ensure that this Institution becomes the pride of Kenya and Africa as a whole,” Obora says.

Obora says they are also looking forward to receive students from oversees to come and study in the near future.

Prof. Obora’s sentiment comes barely a few days after the Government granted an interim letter to the first ever Talent University in Africa based in Kisumu City.
