FOUR more people have been arrested on the issue of water meters’ theft in Kisumu.
Kisumu Water and Sewerage Company Managing Director Thomas Odongo says police together with officers from the company arrested the trio within Nyalenda Estate this morning on the issue of water meters theft within the area.

“Three more suspects and a scrap metal dealer were today morning arrested in Nyalenda estate, pending being taken to court once police complete investigating the matter,” said KIWASCO Managing Director Thomas Odongo, adding that the suspects have been arrested in connection to theft of meters.
These arrests come barely two weeks after the company raised an alert on increased theft of water meters to their customers where it has used more than half a million to replace water meters which have been stolen within various estates in Kisumu city.
