Kisumu told to invest in income generating activities.

James Japheth Mwamu Foundation James Mwamu says this is the surest way that
they will ensure that they are stable financially.
Mwamu says it is high
time the Boda boda riders engage in such activities which will eventually help
in uplifting their standards of living in the society.
He says the riders
should emulate their counterparts in Central Kenya region whom some of them
have invested heavily in serious income generating activities like building
rental houses among others.
Mwamu who is seeking
to be elected as Kisumu East Constituency Member of Parliament during the next
year's election says a serious conversation is needed around this, adding that
the Boda Boda industry runs part of the Country's economy hence can’t be
ignored at all cost.
