Foundation awards 16 best KCSE students from a private school

A Foundation has continued with part of its work of award best Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education {KCSE} exams candidates who excelled well in Kisumu East Constituency.

Mwalimu James Japheth Mwamu Foundation has been awarding best KCSE students in public Secondary schools within Kisumu East but have begun to award such students who excelled in Private schools within the said area.

Addressing the students at Oasis of Hope Secondary School within Nyalenda B ward in Kisumu East constituency, the Foundation’s President Lawyer James Aggrey Mwamu says this is a way of encouraging the students who have performed well academically and proceeding to the Universities.

Mwamu says it is also a way of boosting the morale of the current KCSE 2022 candidates who will be sitting their final exams in December this year.

He has urged those students who are proceeding to the university level to further their education to take interest on learning at such institutions.

“We want you to go and work extra hard while at the university level so that you get your genuine degree certificates,” Mwamu says.

The Mwalimu James Japheth Mwamu Foundation has been visiting secondary schools within Kisumu East constituency while awarding the Best KCSE candidates 2021, encouraging and motivating the current form fours on the need to work hard in their studies for the final exams slated December this year.

The Foundation has so far visited Orongo, Angira, Kibos, Obwolo and Dr Aloo Gumbi Secondary schools within Kisumu East and awarded their best KCSE 2021 students who are proceeding to the Universities to further their education.

At Obwolo and Dr. Aloo Gumbi secondary schools, the foundation has awarded 5 and 13 students respectively.

The Foundation has been awarding the students with note books, pens, T shirts and cash award ranging from 1,500 to 5,000 for their shopping when they join universities.
