Miwani ward MCA Candidate promise to pay NHIF for widows

 

It is a shy of relief to widows after a Member of County Assembly Candidate in Miwani ward within Kisumu County has promised to pay their monthly contributions to the National Hospital Insurance Fund {NHIF} if he is elected as the next area MCA.

 

 The Miwani Ward MCA candidate Jared Ochieng Opiyo has promised to pay for all the widows their contributions to the NHIF from his own pocket after election in August 9th if he is elected to represent the area.

 

Addressing mourners during the funeral ceremony of Mama Sarah Odado of Kabar Central Sub Location North East Kano Location Miwani Ward within Muhoroni Constituency, Opiyo also promised to table the a bill under of Health Department to pay for Widows from other wards within Kisumu County get the same Money paid for them by the County Government of Kisumu.

 

Opiyo who is contesting the seat on the Party of National Unity {PNU} under Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance Coalition also promised to provide some farm inputs like fertilizers to farmers in order to boost the crop production.

 

On Education he said that he will sponsor more Students to TVET institutions to pursue Technical courses like Plumbing, Masonry, Building and Constructions among others, adding that he will also provide them tools to help them start their own businesses or Company.

 

At the same time, the MCA Candidate has promised to pay full amount for those students who have not gotten their Kenya certificate of Secondary Education in High School due lack of School fee.
