ODM MP Candidate in Ksm Central mounts door to door campaigns

The race to next Month’s General Election has been heightened in Kisumu Central where Orange Democratic Movement {ODM} Party Candidate for Member of Parliament Joshua Oron has mounted spirited campaign with an aim of trouncing the incumbent.

Oron and his entourage have been crisscrossing the cosmopolitan constituency with nearly 100,000 voters while wooing them to vote him come next month as their next Member of Parliament.

Addressing the residents of Kisumu Central constituency during a meet the people tour within the Kisumu Central Business District to popularize his candidature after attending a church service, Oron said he has what it takes to be the next Member of Parliament for Kisumu Central constituency.

Oron says the residents of Kisumu Central Constituency need to be well represented by a leader who can articulate issues both inside and outside Parliament as their Member of the National Assembly.

He has assured the traders within the Central Business District of better working conditions, affordable business loans and clean working environment suitable for conducting their business.

“We want to ensure that our people within Kisumu Central constituency can afford doing their businesses without much worries by creating conducive environment for doing such business for their survival. I will ensure that this is done when I am elected as the Member of Parliament next month of August,” Oron says.

The traders whom he has visited are optimistic that the ODM party candidate for Kisumu Central will carry the day after being elected during the August polls.

Oron has appealed to the voters within the constituency to turn up in large numbers and vote him as their MP and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga together with all the ODM candidates vying for various seats in Kisumu County.

During the meet the people tour, Oron was accompanied by Kisumu businessman Edward Onyango among other members of the business Community within the Kisumu Central Business District.
