Businessman donates sports kits worth 200,000 to teams in Kisumu central.

A FLAMBOYANT Businessman has donated sports kits to ten football teams within Kisumu Central Constituency worth shs 200,000.

The Businessman Kevin Ochieng Kwere has donated the sports kits so as to help promoting football among various youth groups within Kisumu Central Constituency.

He says youth who have a talent in football should be helped in developing such talents with an aim of earning a living through such talents.

Addressing the press at Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground today, Kwere said a total 150 players from 10 youth groups have benefitted from the initiative.

Kwere says he will continue supporting the sports as a talent among the youth within Kisumu Central Constituency.

He says there should be room to nurture talents among the youth so as to help them earn a means of livelihoods.

Kwere says the initiative has been a partnership between him and the County Government of Kisumu.

He adds that he will organize for more tournament for the youth within Kisumu Central Constituency, adding that this will be done in the course of next month.

“If you support a talent from the youth, this means you support the future of this nation,” Kwere says.

He says some of the items that donated include full jerseys uniforms, balls among other items, adding that some of the teams include Kona Mbuta, Obunga, Nyalenda youth among others.

He adds that there is a program he has initiated among at boosting the business among the youth so as to enable them survive in life.
