Don’t Seek help from hell to pass exams, Magoha tells KCSE Candidates as exams kicks off

EDUCATION Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha has asked candidates not to use unorthodox means to pass the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Exams that has kicked off in the country this morning.

Magoha has instead asked the candidates to ignore any help from hell in order to try to pass their examination.

Addressing the Supervisors and Security officers who have converged at Kisumu Central Sub-County Commissioner’s office today where the Kenya National Examination  Council has a container for storing the KCSE exam papers, Magoha has urged all the candidates across the country to instead seek divine help from heaven.

Magoha says the Government is fully in charge in the process of manning this year’s national exams.
He says exams have been released now for the candidates to tackle them, adding that the candidates have been prepared for it.

He has warned all the unscrupulous persons who might try to steal exams that there days are numbers because they won’t succeed.

Magoha says any KCSE candidate who might have had some issues with his school and  has represented himself/herself in the examination room to do the exams should not be denied the chance to do the exams.

The Cabinet Secretary says those candidates who became unruly and the schools decided that they would do exams as days scholars will remain so because the ministry cannot interfere with such a decision by the schools’ management.

“Every child who registered as a candidate in this year’s national examinations must be allowed to do exams and if there are issues it will be dealt with later,” Magoha says.

He has warned all the candidates that they should never get involved in any form of cheating in this exams, adding that some parents have contributed money that they want to aid in exams irregularities.
“Nobody should say that he has never been warned against any form of exam irregularity as consequence are very severe,” Magoha adds.

He says the Government has invested heavily in the manning exams hence ensuring that there is credibility.
