179 graduated at Uzima University’s Second Graduation

A total of 179 people have graduated at the Uzima University in Kisumu as the institution conducts its second graduation in a colorful ceremony.

Out of the 179 graduates, 19 were conferred the Degree of Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery of the Uzima University.

In a ceremony presided over by the Uzima University Founding Chancellor Arch Bishop Emeritus of Catholic Church Arch Diocese of Kisumu Zacchaeus Okoth, Seven other Candidates graduated after being conferred degree of Bachelors of Science in Microbiology.

Other 66 candidates graduated with the Bachelors of Science in Clinical Medicine while 73 others graduated with Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

Twelve candidates have been awarded Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Diploma in nursing respectively while six others have been awarded Diploma in Health records and Information Management.

Two candidates have been awarded Certificate in Health Records and Information Management.

Chairman Commission For University Education {CUE} Prof Chacha Nyaigotti Chacha, the Chief Guest during the Occasion urged the graduates to go out and serve the public diligently.

He says the University has prepared the graduates well and they are ready to serve the people.

“We believe that as far as this University has prepared you, you will be good health providers and serve diligently in your respective areas of specialization,” Prof Chacha says.

Chacha urges the graduates to remain focus to what the university has offered them.
