Foundation embarks on awarding best KCPE Candidates in Kisumu

A foundation has embarked on awarding six best candidates per school in Kisumu East Constituency in the year 2020 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education.

Mwalimu James Japheth Mwamu Foundation is on a mission of awarding six best candidates who sat the KCPE exams within schools in Kisumu East Constituency.

Addressing teachers and pupils of Ragumo Primary School in Kisumu East Constituency when the foundation visited the school to congratulate and gave awards to its six best candidates in the last year’s KCPE exams, the Foundation’s President James Aggrey Mwamu said it is indeed a good gesture to award hard working pupils and students.

He says he is impressed by the good performance in a number of schools within Kisumu East constituency in the last year’s KCPE.

Mwamu says those candidates who have performed well and cannot proceed to secondary schools due to lack of school fee should be helped to achieve their dreams of joining such schools.

He has urged the candidates to go and continue working hard in their secondary school lives hence attain good grades which will make them proceed to universities for further studies.

“I want to take this only opportunity to encourage the candidates to go and work extra hard in secondary schools so that they get better grades that will enable them go to universities to further their studies,” he says.

Mwamu further urges the students to be highly disciplined when they go to secondary schools and maintain it thereafter.

During the event, the Foundation awarded certificates to the candidates and gave a shopping voucher to each worth 2,500 for their school shopping when they join form one.

The Foundation’s President says it will visit more schools within Kisumu East to award six best candidates in the last year’s class eight final exams.

Ragumo Primary school through the Head Teacher thanked the Foundation for such a good gesture and promised to work hard for better results.

The school also awarded its six best candidates with certificates of appreciation during the event.
