There is no bad blood between us, Senator Outa tells Governor Nyong’o.

KISUMU County Senator Fredrick Otieno Outa has clarified that there is no bad blood between him and Kisumu Governor Prof.Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o.

Outa says he has a very cordial working relationship with Governor Nyong’o since they campaigned together ahead of the last year’s general election as ODM candidates for Senatorial and Gubernatorial candidates respectively.

Speaking at Kabonyo/Kanyagwal ward in Kisumu County during the tour by Governor Nyong’o yesterday, Senator Outa said they must ensure that their Team Kali remains intact so as to help deliver election pledges to the residents of Kisumu.

Outa claims that there are only some individuals who are out to divide them so as to scuttle their ambitions of ensuring proper service delivery to the residents of Kisumu County.

Outa has urged all the Members of the County Assembly of Kisumu to ensure that they work as a team so that they can help to drive the Agenda of the new Governor Prof Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o.
He urges the MCAs not to divide themselves into camps as this will affect their work of oversight, legislation, and Representation.

“We want our MCAs to remain united and help to drive the great agenda of Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o who is now the Governor of Kisumu County,” he says.

He says the County Assembly of Kisumu under the leadership of Onyango Oloo as the Speaker should work without interference from any quarter.

“Let us work as a team in Kisumu County and this issue of coming up with various camps within the Kisumu County Assembly should not arise at all,” Outa says.

He adds that those who are out to divide the two that is him and the Governor will not succeed at all since their intentions have already been known.

Meanwhile, the chief of Staff at the County Government of Kisumu Patrick Lumumba Ouya has said Kano clan in Kisumu County will support Governor Nyong’o for ten years as the Governor of Kisumu County.

He says the current Senator Fred Outa will not vie as the Governor in 2022 but will support Governor Nyong’os second term till 2027 when he shall have served his two terms successfully, adding that Outa will sail through unopposed as the Senator come 2022 General elections.

“I have talked to my brother Senator Outa whom we have been together as team kali that we will allow Governor Nyong’o to serve as the Governor for two terms till 2027 after which Outa will now bring this seat back to Kano after that hence Prof. Nyong’o is the Governor and will serve for two terms,” Ouya says.

Ouya says those who are trying to get between Governor Nyong’o and Senator Outa are just day dreamers and will never succeed in their mission of wanting to divide the duo.

The larger Kano Clan is comprised of three Constituencies namely; Nyando, Muhoroni and Kisumu East which is part of the seven constituencies which makes up the Kisumu County.Other constituencies are Kisumu West, Kisumu Central, Seme and Nyakach.
