affiliate parties told to fold and join UDA
THE Affiliate Political Parties in the Kenya Kwanza have
been told to fold and join United Democratic Alliance.
Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei says the new Secretary
General of the UDA should ensure that this is done without any further delay.
Addressing the residents of Kisumu County who turned up to
register as UDA Party members today, the Nandi Senator says their aim is to
ensure that they form a formidable political that takes care of interests of
the common man across the country.
He has lauded Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria’s
intention to fold his political party and join the United Democratic Alliance
of President Dr. William Ruto and work together as one political party.
On his party, UDA New Secretary General Cleopas Malala says
the interest of UDA Members must be taken care of right from the grass root
level up to the national level.
He urges Kenyans across the country to register as Members
of the UDA Party and participate in its elections as Delegates that will be held
sometime in August this year.
He has told all those who claim to be officials of the party
at the grass root level to embark on recruiting more members for the party.
He further says as the New UDA Party Secretary General, he
will ensure that he champion the interests of its members right from the grass
root level.
Former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa says they intend to recruit
more than 250,000 Members of UDA in Kisumu County.
Outa says they have a plan to have 1 million residents of
Nyanza to vote for UDA Party in the next General Election that will be held in
2027.
Outa says as a resident of Kisumu County and a Kenyan, he is
ready to exercise his democratic right.
