I mean well for Raila to become President, says Jakoyo.

GEM Constituency Member of Parliament Washington Jakoyo Midiwo says he means well for Nasa Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga to become the next President of the country after the next month’s General Election.

Midiwo who is defending Gem Parliamentary seat as an Independent candidate after the ODM party ticket was bagged by Elisha Odhiambo, says he is fully campaigning for the Nasa Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga in his bid to become the fifth President of Kenya.

 Speaking during a radio talk show on Wednesday, Midiwo said Odinga means well for this country hence stand a better chance to become its next Chief Executive Officer.

“It is better for me even to lose my Parliamentary seat of Gem but Raila becomes the next President of the country and I will vote him during the polls next month,” Midiwo says.

Midiwo says Raila needs a very strong political party if he becomes the President of the country.
He however criticize a section of some personnel in the Nyanza Presidential Campaign team saying they do not mean serious business in campaigning fully for Raila Odinga as the next President.

Midiwo claims that some of the personnel in the campaign team are busy insulting the various independent candidates vying for various seats within Nyanza region instead of doing serious campaigns for Odinga’s Presidential bid.

 He says some utterances made by the current Siaya Senator James Orengo during political rallies in siaya about Siaya Gubernatorial Candidate as an Independent Candidate Engineer Nicholas Odero Gumbo are in bad taste and should not be tolerated.

He says he fully supports Gumbo’s bid to become the Siaya County Governor as an independent candidate against Siaya County Governor Cornel Rasanga who is defending the seat in ODM party ticket.
 Midiwo says Gumbo who is the current Rarieda MP means well for Siaya County hence is suited to be its next Governor.

He says he will ensure Raila gets the highest number of presidential votes within Nyanza region but is quick to add that the issue of six piece voting pattern being advocated by ODM Party has not been fully bought by the electorates.

Midiwo however dismissed claims that he is a Jubilee party mole, saying those who are peddling such rumors should come up with evidence linking him as a jubilee mole.
