Nyong’o promises to work with the youth as the next Kisumu Governor.

THE Kisumu County ODM Gubernatorial Candidate Prof. Peter Anyang Nyongo has promised to work with the youth within Kisumu County to help them realize their potentials in various areas.

Nyong says he has the interests of the youth at heart hence will ensure that his Government fully inco-operate them if elected the next Governor of Kisumu county during the next month’s General Election.

Addreesing over 3,000 youth at Kisumu’s Christ is the Answer Ministry{CITAM} Church on Friday during a youth conversation with leaders meeting, Nyong’o said the population of the youth in the whole country is about 68 percent of the total Kenya’s population hence cannot be ignored at all.

He says he will work in tandem with the seven pillar manifesto that the youth in Kisumu County presented to him during the meeting.

He says the youth manifesto coincides with his ten point manifesto which he presented to the electorates last month, adding that he will implement the two simultaneously if elected the next Governor of Kisumu County.

“This youth manifesto presented to me today coincides with mine which we plan to implement if elected in office next month during the election there the two are complimentary,” Nyong’o says.
He says his next Government will consider appointing some youth as members of his cabinet because he values the youth.

The youth manifesto has issues of unemployment among others in the document they presented to Prof.Nyong’o.

“I want to assure the youth that we will work with them and we are ready to listen to them and see a way of helping them realizing their various potentials,” Nyong’o says.

Nyong’o at the same time rubbished claims that he will get rid of the boda boda operating within Kisumu City Central Business District, saying he will never do such like a thing at all.

He says such as cheap rumors being peddled by one of his opponents.

“What we want to do is in our ten-point manifesto and they are very clear and whoever is saying what we do not have in our manifesto should be shunned at all cost,” Nyongo adds.
