 Nyong’o claims a senior AP Boss in Nyanza in a mission to rig polls.

KISUMU County ODM Gubernatorial Candidate Prof Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o has laid fresh claims that a senior Administration Police boss in Nyanza region based in Kisumu City is on an alleged mission to rig the forth coming polls next month in favor of the current Governor Jack Ranguma and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Nyong’o has claimed the Senior AP Boss is the one allegedly being used in a mission aiming at rigging the polls come next month in Kisumu and Siaya Counties.

Speaking after attending a church service at ACK St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Kisumu on Sunday, Nyong’o claims that the officer has been meeting polling officials through some of his representatives where they have allegedly discussed how to rig the next polls in favor of Ranguma as the next Governor.

Nyong’o has also claimed that Deputy President’s wife Rachael Ruto had also met Governor Ranguma, Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju, Karachuonyo MP James Rege and a woman from Siaya County known as a Madam Jabalo where Mrs Ruto allegedly gave out about shs 100 million which he claims is being used for voters  Identity Cards’ buying in Kisumu county.

He claims that the meeting took place in one of the posh hotels in Kisumu City early this month. 

He further claims that on July 26 this year, there was a meeting with some IEBC officials and state security team with a representative of the senior AP Boss and Ranguma’s representatives, adding a similar meeting was held in Kisumu with ICT officials from IEBC to discuss how to influence the forthcoming polls next month.

He says he will travel to Nairobi to petition the office of the President and the Inspector General of the Police so as to ensure that the AP boss go on leave beginning next week claiming that he will interfere with elections.

“I want to travel to Nairobi next week where I will petition the office of the President and that of IG to request that the senior AP Boss to go on leave and is not here during the elections,” Nyong’o says.

He further claims that a meeting was held in one of the Hotels in Ahero yesterday on July 29 where a serving MCA from Nyando Sub-County met some IEBC polling officials at the grass root to discuss how to influence the elections next month.

“Nothing can happen in Kisumu County without us knowing hence we must not keep quite because there are a lot of interference with the electoral process here with the help of state security agents,”
