Nyanza AP Boss refutes Nyongo’s claim on election rigging plan.

THE Nyanza Administration Police Commander Joseph Keitany has vehemently refuted claims by Kisumu County ODM Gubernatorial Candidate Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyongo that he is allegedly colluding with Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma to rig election in his favor and that of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Keitany says he has never met any IEBC official within Kisumu County and any other county in Nyanza with an aim of planning to rig the election as claimed by Nyong’o.

 Speaking to this writer on phone, Keitany said the claims by Nyongo’ is untrue and baseless.
He says he is not a politician and should not be dragged into the matters of politics.

Keitany urges Nyongo to be busy with his campaigns and look for votes but stop mudslinging the state security agents while claiming that they are being used in elections rigging plan.

He says it is not true that he met Mrs. Ruto on her tour in Kisumu recently as claimed by Nyong’o where the issue of an alleged Identity Cards buying in Kisumu was discussed, adding that he was not in Kisumu at the time the Deputy President’s wife visited Kisumu early this month.

 Kisumu County ODM Gubernatorial Candidate Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyongo on Sunday after attending a church service at ACK St. Stephen’s Cathedral opened a Pandora box while claiming that there is an elaborate plans being put in place by Jubilee and Kisumu County Governor Jack Ranguma to rig the elections.

He claims that part of the plan will be allegedly executed by the Nyanza AP commander where he is allegedly working with Governor Ranguma to jeopardize peace and credibility of the forthcoming elections.

Nyong’o has threatened to go to the office of the President and that of the Inspector General of the Police this week to petition for the removal of the Nyanza AP Boss over the claims of planning to rig the forth coming polls.

Nyong’o also claims that on July 6 this year, a meeting was held in Kisumu by Deputy President’s wife Mrs. Rachael Ruto allegedly attended by Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma, Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju, Karachuonyo MP James Rege where Mrs. Ruto is alleged to have given shs 100m to a woman identified as Jabalo from Siaya County which part of it is said to be used in Identity Card buying from the electorates in Kisumu and Siaya Counties.
