  Fight Corruption first before implementing the Big Four Agenda, Buyu urges President Kenyatta.

PRESIDENT Kenyatta has been urged to fight the rampant corruption in the country before embarking on implementing his big Four Agenda for Kenyans.

Kisumu Women Representative Rosa Buyu says the President should first fight the vice before embarking on implementing his big Four Agenda in his second term in office.

Addressing the press in Kisumu today, Buyu said the rate at which corruption is being perpetuated in the country is very worrying indeed hence called on President Kenyatta to act decisively on the vice.
Buyu has single out that the issue of corruption is now the one dominating news items in most Print and electronic media hence a need to take action against it.

The Kisumu County Member of Parliament says the country is bleeding due to corruption and something must be done to save it.

She says the issue of corruption which is being mentioned from various sectors like NYS, National Cereal and Produce Board, Kenya Power, Youth Fund among others must be addressed.

“I think the President needs to be very focused and deal with the issue of corruption then talk about and implement  his big four agenda for the country and he will only achieve the big four agenda if he address the issue of corruption ,” Buyu says.

The Kisumu County Women Representative says the media should continue to be very alert and continue airing various corruption issues without fear of favor.

“There is no way our President will achieve the Big Four Agenda yet a lot of money is being lost through corruption hence he should focus on how to tackle the issue of corruption,” she adds.

Buyu adds the issue of handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga has brought peace and good environment yet through corruption, a lot of funds is being lost, adding that this must stop.

Buyu says political goodwill is needed to help in fighting corruption  in the country.
