Teacher killed after quarreling with three students in a bar in Nyakach.

A SECONDARY school Teacher has been killed in Nyakach Sub-County after a disagreement with three students in a pub.

The teacher identified as Manase Omole of Guu Secondary school met his death after three students accosted him in a bar at Nyamaroka market.

According to Assistant Chief of Koguta East Sub-Location Walter Oguche who confirmed the incident, the three students’ one is a university student and the two are secondary school students within the area.

The Assistant Chief says the deceased and the suspects were together in a bar last night when the incident occurred.

Sources say the three students allegedly insisted that the teacher buy them alcoholic drinks but he declined.

It was after the deceased declined the request and the trio accosted him outside the bar and attacked him killing him.

The teacher reportedly left the pub and the suspects followed him outside where they attacked him using crude weapons.

It is alleged that the suspects used sharp weapon since the body of the deceased had deep cuts.
Police took the body to Nyabondo Sub-County hospital Mortuary for postmortem.

Kisumu County Police Commander Job Boronjo has confirmed that police are holding three people in connection with the incident.

The Kisumu County Police Boss says the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have commenced investigations into the incident.

He adds that the team is at the ground collecting information in regard to the incident that includes interrogating the arrested suspects.

“We have commenced investigations into the incident which took place in Nyakach area where a teacher lost his life. We have arrested three people in connection to this incident,” he says.
