Alego Usonga MP tells Duale to keep off Nasa fundraising issue.

AN Orange Democratic Movement {ODM} Party Member of Parliament from Siaya County has told off Garisa Town MP Aden Duale to keep off from discussing the National Super Alliance fundraising issue.

Alego Usonga Member of Parliament Samwel Atandi says Duale has no moral authority to lecture the Nasa Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga who has urged his supporters to help in fundraising for the Coalition’s Presidential campaigns.

Speaking in Kisumu on Saturday, Atandi said NASA’s Presidential Candidate request to his supporters to help him in fundraising for his Presidential campaigns is very much in order and nothing is wrong with it and Duale has no ability to question it.

“I wish to reiterate the Nasa’s Presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s request to his supporters to help him raise funds for the Coalition’s presidential campaigns,” he says.

Atandi says what Nasa is doing has also been a replica of what has been done in US where the supporters of democrats managed to fundraise for the party during last Year’s polls for its flag bearer’s campaigns.

The lawmaker says he is fully in support of the initiative by the Nasa Presidential Candidate, adding that this will allow the members of the public to have a recognized stake when Nasa Government gets into power.

He adds that the elections guidelines also allow political parties to fund raise for their campaigns. 

Atandi claims that Duale has been allegedly involved in some corrupt activities, adding that he should come clean first before questioning why Nasa through its Presidential candidate is raising money from Kenyans.

“Duale has no moral compass to lecture anybody including Nasa on what we do since he has been allegedly involved in even sugar and Charcoal business in Somalia,” he says.

Atandi claims that the part of the Jubilee campaign funds have been allegedly gotten through corruption unlike Nasa which is only doing fund raising from his supporters.

He says the reason as to why the Nasa coalition is asking Kenyans to fundraise is because the coalition is a government in waiting hence has a program that is going to help Kenyans live  better lives.
