“This is a victory for all Kenyans and God has indeed triumph,”
Nyong’o said.
Nyong’o thanked the Supreme Court Judges led by Maraga for
their ruling on the NASA petition which sought to annul Presidential election
where Uhuru Kenyatta was announced the winner by IEBC.
Immediate Former Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo has said the
Presidential Elections which will be held within 60 days as ordered by the
Supreme Court should not be presided over at whatever cost by IEBC.
Jakoyo says IEBC Commissioners and its entire secretariat
must be sent packing and elections conducted by an international body.
The same sentiment has also been echoed by former TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo who decamped to ODM.
He says IEBC can not conduct the Presidential Election within the next 60 days as presently constituted because the Supreme Court has found that it did not conduct the August 8 Presidential Elections in accordance to the constitution and election laws.
He says the entire IEBC and its secretariat must be sent packing and pave way for another team to conduct a free, fair and transparent Presidential Elections.
