Kisumu Boys posts
good KCSE results in honor of their late Chief Principal
On March 3 this year during the requiem mass for the Late
Chief Principal of Kisumu Boys High School, the acting Principal Eric Duya talked
to the form four candidates and reminded them about what the late Chief
Principal Mr Peter Obuogo wanted in terms of academic performance in the year
2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
The candidates nodded in unison and assured the school
authority that the best they would give their late Chief Principal is good
performance and they asked for God to guide them during that trying moment.
Today after the official release of the KCSE Exams by the
Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Education Prof George Magoha,
the Kisumu Boys High School has posted a good result in honor of the Late Chief
Principal who always wanted it to do extremely well.
Kisumu Boys High School Acting Principal Eric Duya says this
year, the school has posted a great performance as compared to last year’s one
where no one scored a mean grade of A plain.
He says so far the school have managed to get its two top
candidates scoring a mean grade of A plain with the first one getting the
A-Plain of 82 points in accordance the preliminary results it has received so
far.
Duya says the exemplary performance has been attributed to
hard work, team work and constant genuine prayers for God’s intervention.
He says two of their candidates who have attained the mean
grade of A-plain have been promising indeed and the school expected them to do
well alongside other candidates, adding that the school registered a total of
421 as their KCSE 2021 candidates.
Duya says if their preliminary results are something to go
by then they expect to get not less than 300 candidates join university
directly.
“The preliminary results is showing exemplary performance by
our candidates of the year 2021 and we may end up taking not less than 300 of
the candidates directly to universities,” Duya says.
He has thanked the candidates for being composed and has now
given the school good results.
“I want to thank our students for being composed during the
exams after we lost our captain only two week to the exams. They have
truly given us the result to honor the
Captain Mr Peter Obuogo,” he adds.
