He said they will explore the proposed basic education curriculum framework as one of the agenda during the meeting.

Ochome said they will also try to discuss the laws and policies that govern the management of private schools within the country.

He said they will also discuss the issues of school fees for private schools within the country.

The General Secretary said they will also discuss the issue of private schools in the 21st century.

He added that the association has invited various speakers on different topics during this conference.

“We will also have sessions on kindergartens during this year’s AGM and this is also important to,” Ochome said.

He has urged those private schools which have not joined the association to do so hence help in championing for the interests of the private schools in the country.

“There are some schools which have not joined the association not because they do not want but because they think that they are still too young in terms of establishment. We want such like schools to join us in the association,” he added.
