Nyanza ODM Aspirants Caucus dismiss Pro Mudavadi demo in Kakamega.

VARIOUS aspirants on Orange Democratic Movement {ODM} party ticket in Nyanza region have dismissed the recently held demonstration in Kakamega County wanting Amani party Leader Musalia Mudavadi to be picked as the National Super Alliance {NASA} flag bearer.

Under the banner of Nyanza Aspirants Caucus, the aspirants claim that the pro-Mudavadi peaceful demonstration has been allegedly sponsored by the Jubilee Party and the Government.

Addressing the press at Kisumu Hotel today, the caucus led by it chair Jared Okello claims that the Jubilee Party is doing all it can to ensure that NASA disintegrate by all means.

Okello who is also one of the Nyando Parliamentary aspiring MPs on ODM Party ticket says the twelve-member committee task with the issue of coming up with the NASA Presidential flag bearer should be left to complete its work and give its supporters the flag bearer and the running mate.

He says that role of coming up with the Alliance’s flag bearer has not been handed over to another entity other than the twelve-member committee.

“On their own volition, the four principals of NASA did set up the twelve-member committee drawn from all the affiliate political parties to discern the best case scenario and perfect combination with the surest potential to send the inept and roughshod corrupt jubilee administration home.That role has not been passed over to any other entity, groupings or individuals,” they say.

The aspirants claims that what happened in Kakamega is a case in point to show that the Jubilee party is out to ensure that NASA disintegrate, adding that they have recognize that NASA is a panacea to misrule by Jubilee party.

The aspirants plead for patience, calm, restrain and mutual respect particularly while expressing opinions concerning the delicate subject of NASA’s torch bearer.

“We must desist from and refuse the allure of Jubilee.The challenges we are facing as a nation under the bondage of jubilee government are greater than any one individual or ethnic grouping and only a united NASA can bring hope for tidings to the people of this great nation,” they add.
