Chief promises serious crackdown on illicit Brew in East Kisumu.

THE fight against illicit brew in East Kisumu Location will go on on very a serious note,an administrator has said.

East Kisumu Location Chief Aloyce Aboge says he has intensified the fight against the illicit alcohol within the area and will continue with the exercise.

Speaking to the press at Pundo Market near Bandani area within Kogony Sub-location today after conducting a raid to a home and netted the illicit alcohol,Aboge said the area security team led by him will not relent to the fight against illicit brew.
He says the illicit brew has been netted following a tip off from a member of the public.

During the the said raid where he was also accompanied by the area Assistant Chief and some officers from Kisumu West Deputy County Commissioner's office, a total of 850 sachets of Simba waragi alcohol and 240 sachets of Kitoko both illicit brew.

The impounded illicit brew were transported  to Kisumu West Sub-county Deputy County Commissioner's offices.

During the raid the suspect identified as Margaret Oyalo managed to escape and police are hunting for her in connection with the netted illicit brew.
