where the residents will give their views on how they want to be governed and
what type of development they want.
“It is through this council that the residents’ right from
the village will tell the county Government on what type of development they
want being initiated,” Nyong’o says.

well as trying to woo more investors to help in bringing more companies and
this will help to create more employment opportunities for the people of Kisumu
County,”Nyong’o further says.
Nyong’o says having an investment conference in Kisumu as this
is very important and has never happened here since devolution kicked off.
“When I was the Minister for economic planning, I ensure
that the Country had various investment conferences and this made us to wake up
as a country,” he says.
