Orange Democratic Movement {ODM} Party candidates for the various political positions in Nyanza region wants the electorates to vote all its candidates from grass root to national level during the forthcoming polls on August 8.

ODM Party nominee for the Kisumu County Women representative seat Rose Buyu said this is the surest way that the party will have numbers inits elected leaders both at County and National Level

Speaking at a political rally organized by Nyando MP Fred Outa who is also the ODM nominee for
Kisumu County Senatorial seat to launch his bid on Thursday, Buyu urged the electorates to vote only ODM Party candidates during the forth-coming polls.

The same sentiments have been echoed by Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga who has called on the electorates to vote six piece, adding that this will ease Raila Odinga's work if elected the next President of Kenya during the August 8.

Oburu Oginga also echoed the same sentiment that they have a right to root for six piece in ODM Party strong holds where they have support and will ensure that all their candidates are elected.

Oburu urges independent candidates to do their own campaigns on their own and stop interfering with ODM Party activities.

“Those who are vying for various seats as independent candidates should leave us alone and do their campaigns without interfering with us as ODM,” Oburu says.

Oburu who is also in the Nyanza ODM Presidential Campaign team took his time to campaign for ODM Nominee for Kisumu County Gubernatorial seat Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o.

Oburu further challenged Presidential Uhuru Kenyatta to name those International Organizations whom the President has claimed that is funding the NASA Presidential candidate RailaOdinga.

ODM Chairman John Mbadi also roots for six piece and urged the electorates to vote the ODM Candidates all through.

Mbadi urged the electorates in Kisumu County not to play politics of clans and vote Leaders who can deliver to them.

Mbadi has poured cold water on Independent candidates in Nyanza region, saying they have nothing to offer to the electorates.

Mbadi says for Nasa Presidential Candidate RailaOdinga to have greater strength in Parliament both in the Senate and the National Assembly if elected the next President, he must have the highest number of MPs in Parliament and the voting pattern is six piece.

“As the Chairman of ODM Party, I have a mandate to talk to our people to vote six piece right from the grass root to national level where RailaOdinga is contesting as a Presidential candidate,” Mbadi says.

Mbadi says the Nasa Campaigns are purely funded by the various political parties affiliated to it and no foreign funding.

Mbadi also told off NCCK General Secretary for suggesting that Nasa Presidential candidate to accept the results of the forth-coming polls.

“How the NCCK is tells us to be ready to accept the out of the elections which has not been held?” he asks.

He urges the NCCK to also talk to IEBC to conduct free, fair and credible election during the forth-coming polls and not to lecture the Nasa Presidential Candidate to accept the results of the elections.

Kisumu County Deputy Governor Ruth Odinga dismissed a proposal by President Uhuru Kenyatta to revive Kenya Breweries Company’s Kisumu depot.

She says the President has visited Kisumu County more than five times hence there is no tangible development he has initiated since he ascended to the Presidency in 2013.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta cannot purport to be wanting to revive Kenya Breweries in Kisumu yet he has not launched any tangible development in Kisumu County. We do not want it now.” Ruth says.

Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o who is the ODM Party’s nominee for the Gubernatorial seat has said that the time of Imperial Presidency is long gone and should be done away with.

Nyong’o claims that the latest opinion poll conducted by the National Intelligence Service {NIS} has showed that Nasa has 58 percent while Jubilee has 42 percent and this clearly shows that Nasa is leading.

He says if elected as the next Governor of Kisumu County, he plans to turn its economy around.
“The time has change and Kenyans should vote Nasa to change the Country for the betterment of the entire people,” he says.

ODM Party Nominee for Kisumu County Senatorial seat Fred Outa says he will really defend the interest of Kisumu County at the senate if elected during the August 8 polls.

“I want to promise Kisumu County that there will a change here and this will be a very great thing for us all as the residents of Kisumu County,” he says.

Siaya Senator James Orengo also told off NCCK Secretary General’s recent remarks urging Raila to be ready to accept the outcome of the next election’s results.

“We will not accept the election results if the elections won’t be free, fair and credible and does not reflect the wishes of Kenyans,” he says.
